Recent progress in securing the northern territories now allows visits to the future reserve, which is associated with the southern boundary of the Ténéré Erg (desert) and part of the Grand Erg Bilma. The objective is to draw up a single inventory of the entire wildlife living in this reserve and specifically the addax antelope. This route also leads to the Yougoulou and Zoo Baba oases, the rocky peaks of Ehi Tioukoye (Yalanga and Onouma) and the Bilma and Dibella oases. Particular attention was paid to the different species of trees found in these oases, but also on the presence of grasslands encountered along the route.
